What constitutes a stand down?

ACH may apply stand downs for wet weather and high winds if the office is contacted by phone, 1300 361 383, or email, office@assethire.com.au, prior to 10am that day.

Public holidays are subject to a stand down if the office is contacted any time prior to the public holiday. Stand downs will not be applied if requested after the public holiday.

The hire invoice will be adjusted to reflect the approved stand down at the end of the billing period if your account is within trading terms. Stand Downs will not be applied for:

  • Rostered days off
  • Materials not being available on a particular day
  • Staff not available to operate the equipment
  • Restricted site access stopping the use of equipment
  • Equipment not scheduled for use on a particular day
